Following in previous partnerships, this year, EAVCA is partnering with the CFA Society East Africa in the Uganda 2024 Private Equity and Alternative Investments Week, set aside to provide a platform for facilitating knowledge sharing among key industry stakeholders in the private capital industry on trends shaping the Alternative Investments space, both in Uganda, and regionally in East Africa.
During this week, the CFA Society East Africa shall return with its 2nd Edition of the Alternative Investments Conference. The forthcoming second edition is poised to inform investor perspectives, illuminate investable opportunities, and cultivate meaningful connections within the investment community. Attendees can anticipate actionable insights on promising ventures in venture capital, trade financing, sustainability, and societal transformation; strategies for extracting value from private equity, non-traditional investments, and specialised markets such as real estate, infrastructure, green economy, and impact investing. The conference will also feature discussions on constructing well-balanced investment portfolios and investment best practices -well aligned with the Society’s mandate to educate.
