About the Conference
How can Africa mobilise more capital to finance its development priorities and deliver sustainable, long-term impact?
The 2026 AVPA Conference, held under the theme Beyond Aid: Financing Africa’s Future for Sustainable Impact, will bring together investors, funders, policymakers and development ecosystem leaders to explore innovative approaches to financing Africa’s future.
With more than 500 delegates expected from across Africa and around the world, the conference will provide a platform for knowledge exchange, strategic partnerships and discussions on how different sources of capital can work together to address the continent’s development needs.
Participants will include impact investors, private capital providers, family offices, pension funds, insurers,
development finance institutions, philanthropic organisations, foundations, corporates and other stakeholders shaping Africa’s financing landscape.
The discussions will explore opportunities to strengthen collaboration across funding sources, unlock new investment opportunities and channel capital towards sustainable development and measurable impact.
