DESCRIPTION:WEBINAR | MARCH 14TH 2024 | 4:30 – 6:00 PM EAT \n2023 was notable as it marked a year in which the private equity industry globally showed increasing momentum in adopting and mainstreaming innovations such as Continuation Funds as operationalised through GP-led secondaries transactions. The innovation is gaining widespread adoption among GPs looking to continue the value creation strategy with promising portfolio companies beyond the life of a fixed term fund\, with single asset deals being more popular than multiple asset deals. LPs are equally responding to this innovation by building robust secondaries teams internally to diligence GP-led deals\, as well as investing in GP-led secondaries funds. As we enter 2024 there’s increasing consensus that continuation funds will enter the realm of mainstream practice. There has also been some utilisation of strip sales and tender offer- also types of GP-leds.
