DESCRIPTION:EAVCA is a partner of the Angaza Forum\, a platform that celebrates the remarkable achievements of African women in the financial services sector and equips them to make an even greater impact towards Africa’s sustainable development. The Angaza Forum sponsors the Angaza Awards: Women to Watch in Banking & Finance award\, which aims to highlight the influential role of women who are steering and shaping the financial services sector. \nThe Angaza Awards were launched in October 2020. The 2023 Angaza Awards set a new record with entries pouring in from more than 15 African countries. The diversity and excellence showcased during the Awards were truly inspiring. The 2023 Awardees were celebrated at the Angaza Forum held in Kigali\, Rwanda\, providing a platform for networking\, knowledge exchange\, and the celebration of women’s accomplishments in the financial services sector. \nThe 2024 Angaza Awardees will be celebrated during a conference in Nairobi this October. The call for entries for the Awards closes on 31st January.
